Governor his Excellency Mr. Syed Abdul Nazeer is the Chancellor of the University, who is also the Chancellor of all the Government Universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Governance of the University will be through Executive Council comprising of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Directors who will meet regularly to take decisions on the functioning of university and setting governing principles. The Executive Council works inclusively with the academic and administrative faculty to discuss and make decisions maintaining accountability and transparency. The Vice Chancellor of the University is the chairperson for the functioning of the university in terms of accountability and upholding the values and principles of Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University.
